Funky and fabulous with denim and jeans
Denim is a firm, durable cotton-twill textile used in the production of a number of it, with jeans being the most famous one. We know overalls, shorts, Capris, cut-offs and other types of pants, jackets, shirts, dresses, Daisy Dukes and skirts. Of course, the fabric used in clothing is processed after it has been woven. In order to make the material softer, and to eliminate any shrinkage, most denim is washed after being crafted. We all know stone-washed jeans and the wonderful color it creates.
It is a great to look fabulous, yet still be eco-savvy. Whether you're wide-hipped, no-hipped, short-legged, or lanky, the latest trends in denim fashion are organic jeans. There is more than one way to wear your jeans. A nice embellished tote bag is always handy when you go shopping, and do not forget that denim flower brooches are always stylish. Do you know what I am talking about when I say: beautiful mesh and denim slip-ons with crystal accents? Sexy peep toe sling-back or casual? Even denim shoes come in a variety of styles and sizes, which even include baby booties.
It is important to always attain perfection within imperfection. In other words, do not throw out your old, multi-holed jeans or denim clothes, but use them to create beautiful art or other useful or décor enhancements. When “crafty” is your middle name you could sew multiple denim pieces together and make a nice blue pillow cover or a fluffy floor rug. What about a stool cover for your teenager’s room or a very decorative quilt for your brother as a wedding gift?
